Recipe : Old - Fashioned Cherry Cobbler
This scrumptious Cherry Cobbler is perfect for summer holidays when fresh cherries are in season. It has a delicious brown sugar syrup poured over top of the cherry layer before baking. After the cobbler is baked, cherry syrup remains on the bottom. It is delicious spooned over the top of the dessert before eating.Old-Fashioned Cherry Cobbler is absolutely heavenly. Truly, this is one of those desserts that will have you drooling from the first smell out of the oven! The ironic thing is when you put the recipe into the oven it looks awful. It’s one of those recipes where you pour boiling syrup over top of everything else. Then as the dessert bakes it leaves a luscious cherry syrup on the bottom and a nice crust layer on top. This cobbler is marvelous.
