Recipe : Peach Caramel Blondies


     These luscious bar-type cookies are filled with fresh peaches and Ghirardelli caramel chips. They are absolutely divine! This is a scrumptious dessert for potlucks, tailgating or any summer or fall party when fresh peaches are available.

Ingredients: 
  1. 1 1/2 cups unsalted butter (softened)
  2. 1 1/2  cups brown sugar (firmly packed)
  3. 3/4 cup white sugar
  4. three large eggs
  5. 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  6. 4 1/2 cups UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour (bleached flour toughens baked goods)
  7. 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  8. 1 tsp. sea salt
  9. 12 oz. pkg. Ghirardelli caramel chips
  10. 2 half of cups sparkling peaches pitted, peeled and finely diced

How To Make :
  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Grease or spray a huge 13x17” cookie sheet with cooking spray.
  3. In huge bowl, combine butter, sugars, vanilla, eggs, salt and baking soda.
  4. Beat at medium velocity with an electric mixer till fluffy.
  5. Stir in flour, caramel chips and fresh peaches with timber spoon until blended.
  6. unfold and press down cookie dough into prepared cookie sheet.
  7. Bake at 350 tiers for 40-50 mins, or till gently browned and a toothpick inserted in center comes out easy.
