Recipe : Pumpkin Dessert




   This amazing dessert is better than eating Pumpkin Pie and a lot easier than rolling out homemade pie crust. 
 Prep Time 25 mins
 Cook Time 70 mins




Ingredients :
- Crust :
1. 1 box Betty Crocker yellow cake mix (reserve 1 cup for streusel topping)
2. 1/2 cup of Land ‘O Lakes unsalted butter melted
3. 1 big egg

- Filling :
1. 30 oz. can libby's pumpkin pie blend (not canned pumpkin)
2. 2 big eggs
3. 2/3 cup milk

- Topping :
1. 1 cup reserved cake blend
2. 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
3. 1 tsp. cinnamon
4. 1/4 cup unsalted butter

- Homemade Pumpkin Pie Mix:
1. 16 oz. can pumpkin 
2. 3/4 cup sugar
3. 1 cup 1/2-and-half or evaporated milk
4. 1/2 tsp. salt
5. 1 tsp. cinnamon
6. 1/2 tsp. ginger
7. 1/4 tsp. ground cloves

How To Make :
- Crust :
1. Spray a 9x13” baking pan with cooking spray.
2. Mix above elements and spoon into organized pan.
3. Due to the fact this combination is so sticky, you need to spread it into the pan with the back of a wooden spoon

- Filling :
1. Mix together and pour over crust layer.

- Topping :
1. Stir cake mix, brown sugar and cinnamon together.
2. Reduce in butter with pastry blender (or you can soften the butter in a microwave and simply stir the whole thing collectively).
3. Sprinkle over filling.
4. Bake at 350° for about 60-70 mins or till set.
5. Cool absolutely.
6. Top with Cool Whip while cooled and refrigerate. Or you may freeze this (with or without cool whip on top).
7. Get rid of from freezer an hour earlier before serving.

- Home Made Pumpkin Pie Blend :
1. Mix elements and use in place of pumpkin pie mix.
